Biography

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started when I was 16. I started doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and entered some competitions and fell in love. Then, I picked up some boxing and kickboxing and continued to compete and get better. I really loved the competitive nature of the sport and the amount of hard work required to become good.

What titles have you held? Ummmm I think I was the ping pong champion in the TUF 7 house..... Still workin’ on this one.....

Do you have any heroes? All my teammates and coaches at ATT

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Fighting in the UFC has been my dream since I started training. I'm extremely grateful to have this opportunity and will continue to work hard to hopefully one day make a run at the title.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in economics

What was your job before you started fighting? Manager at a country club.... It was a really smooth transition..... Country Club to Cage fighting......
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Quarterfinalist TUF 7, numerous jiu-jitsu competition wins, amateur boxing wins.
