Biography
Training Style
“I am training twice a day in jiu-jitsu and once a day in boxing and kickboxing. I am training with name fighters like Tito Ortiz, Dan Henderson, Ricco Rodriguez and others.”.UFC History
At UFC 20, boxer/wrestler Laverne Clark defeated Fabiano Iha in 1:31 by ref stop due to a bad cut.. "I wish I had thirty seconds more. I had the submission. I was bleeding badly but I really had the submission in my hand. That's the only thing I can tell you. It wasn't a big cut but it was on the head and I was upside down so it made more pressure for the blood to come out of head. But you know, I knew the rules before I got in so what can I say."Fabiano returned at UFC 24 losing a unanimous decision to Dave Menne. "Dave is a great fighter. He has a lot of experience in the ring and was a little bit stronger than I was. He came in with a good strategy and it worked for him."
At UFC 27 Fabiano defeated LaVerne Clark (Miletich Fighting Systems) by verbal tapout to an armbar in 1:11 of the first round avenging an earlier loss. Iha was on a mission to get his first win in the UFC and did so impressively against the always-dangerous Clark. Clark fought the armbar as long as possible but eventually had to concede defeat.
At UFC 29 in Japan Fabiano defeated Daiju Takase in 2:24 of the first round by referee stoppage due to punches. "I was happy. I've been looking for a knockout for a long time to show people that I have more than just submission."
At UFC 30 (2/23/0), Fabiano defeated Phil Johns by armbar in 1:47.

UFC 32
UFC 33 Victory in Vegas
Fabiano is 3 and 4 in the UFC.

Received his black belt from Crolin Gracie. Moved to America three years ago. He came to America because he wants to be a stuntman in the movies and because he wanted to be in the UFC. He was in Royce Gracie's entourage for UFCs 3, 4, and 5. "I always wanted to fight in the UFC one day. From the first time I saw Royce fight I wanted to get in."
“Winning the belt would be a dream come true. I came to America with nothing and I have built myself up to this level. I have been waiting a long time for this opportunity. Uno is a step towards the title. It is his bad luck to be in my way."
