Biography

TRAINING: To be an MMA fighter, we have to train all martial arts like boxing and Muay Thai, but as our team is based on Jiu-Jitsu, we are always more focused on this. We also have physical preparation that is directed by Guiga Meirelles.

When and why did you start training for fighting?
I started in wrestling in 1992, because of a fight I witnessed between Eugenio Tadeu and Wallid Ismail.


What ranks and titles have you held? World Champion, Pan American Champion, and Tetra Champion in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Brazilian champion in wrestling. Owner Jungle Fight Belt, San Jose Super Fight Belt.

Do you have any heroes? BATMAN

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? The realization of a dream.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Some high school.

What was your job before you started fighting? Security in a nightclub.
