Do you have any heroes? Yosemite Sam is my hero. He has a badass mustache and also a great attitude towards life.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Fighting in the UFC means the opportunity to test myself against the baddest dudes in the world. It's an incredible opportunity.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to a small community college. I didn't go for any type of degree. I just took a bunch of random classes that interested me.

What was your job before you started fighting?  I've done a little bit of everything as far as work. Masonry, farming, wood turning, framing, and I currently shear alpacas and fight.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? NAAFS welterweight Champ, RFO middle weight champ.
