When and why did you start training for fighting? I didn't want to get a real job after college and decided to try my hand at being a professional athlete. What ranks and titles have you held? Former Strikeforce Lightweight Champion, black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Do you have any heroes? Both my Grandmothers, who put up with a lot from their kids, which later led to putting up with me. How could they not be my heroes? What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's a coming home party. Given that this is where I started my career, it's fitting that I’ll end my career back here. Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? North Idaho College What was your job before you started fighting?
