Biography

TRAINING: I designed my training for striking, grappling, and MMA, depending on the day of the week.

When and why did you start training for fighting? When I watched my senior colleagues fighting in Shooto I found it very cool and interesting. That was the time I decided to myself that I want to do MMA too.

 
What ranks and titles have you held? DEEP Welterweight Champion, Shooto Pacific Rim Middleweight Champion
 
Do you have any heroes? I do not have any heroes.
 
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I want to show the UFC fans my best performance and prove to them the level of my fighting skills.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? 2009 ADCC Submission Fighting –77.0kg Asian Champion, ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship semifinalist.
