Biography

TRAINING: I train all aspects of fighting almost every day.  Mornings start with yoga and stretching.  After that, I go to MMA training.  Afternoons I train BJJ and finish with cardio.  I like to use swimming a lot in my cardio.  I swim almost every day.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I was a very hyper child, so at 12 years old, I started to train Karate.  I started competing in Karate right away when I started at 12 years old.

What ranks and titles have you held? Coliseu Extreme Fight heavyweight champion

Do you have any heroes? Fedor.  I love his style of fighting.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means the world to me.  I worked for this for many years and it is my dream coming true.  I know it is hard to get into the UFC, but even harder to stay.  Every fight will be a championship fight, and I will do everything I can until one day I am UFC champion.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, I earned a degree in physical education.

What was your job before you started fighting? I was a Jiu-Jitsu coach and I was in a professional band.
