Biography

TUF Bio

Training: My day consists of early morning cardio (7am) at a local chain gym or coach Duke’s place. Then come into the gym at 10am for technique work.  This is either: Boxing, kick boxing, wrestling or No-gi Bjj.  Once finished (1pm) I head to my friend’s house to nap (I am sleeping in his living room on an aero bed).  I then head to the gym (4pm) to watch the BJJ classes and eventually train from 6-9:30.  Then come home and try to catch my sons on webcam before my wife puts them to bed to say good night then take a 30 minute shower to relax and wind down.  Talk shop with my buddy then hit the sack around 11pm.

When and why did you start training for fighting? A good friend (Jayson Werth – Phillies) asked me to fight in his inaugural promotion. I agreed and the rest is history.

What ranks and titles have you held?
I’m just a nobody

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is a fulfillment of a quest.  I continually test myself and this is another hurdle that I decided to conquer.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
Purdue University – Law & Society with minors in supervision and communications

What was your job before you started fighting? I am the CEO of EDEN – Engineered & DEsigned Nutrition.  It’s a sports nutrition company.

If any, list ranks in any martial arts styles: Shotokan

Favorite Striking technique: The punch in the face.
