Training: One to two sessions a day depending on the intensity of the workouts. Replenishing the body in between and after, then hanging with family and friends
When and why did you start training for fighting? I moved to Cortland, NY in the summer of 2007 to train with Team Bombsquad. I wrestled and grappled prior to the move but nothing too serious or focused.
What ranks and titles have you held? I held the Battle Cage Extreme belt
Do you have any heroes? Not any heroes but there are definitely people that I admire.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I'm ecstatic! Everyone remembers watching their first UFCs and just looking at these guys on TV in awe. Now that I have the opportunity to fight for the organization that is looked at as the Super Bowl of mixed martial arts and has the reputation for hosting great fighters is crazy. I'm pumped.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went but wasn't in there long enough to earn a degree.
What was your job before you started fighting? Floor installer
Favorite grappling technique: I have a few triangle choke victories so I guess that has to be it.
