Biography
TRAINING: Training has been going very hard, with a lot of striking technique, wrestling and ground work. And also strength and conditioning under Rogerio Camoes.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training Jiu-Jitsu in my hometown. One day Minotauro Nogueira was in town and needed someone to train with, he believed in me and took me to train in Rio de Janeiro, where I have been since.
What ranks and titles have you held? Former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion
Do you have any heroes? Minotauro Nogueira

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to veterinary school but left school 1 year before graduating to pursue my dream of being a fighter.
What was your job before you started fighting? Prior to fighting I was a vet student.
