When and why did you start training for fighting? I started fighting because I could. I wanted to see if I would be any good at it.
What ranks and titles have you held? Hook-n-Shoot 205-pound champion and world submission champion. Black Belt in Machado Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Do you have any heroes? None
What is your favorite technique? The one that ends the fight.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? That all the years of training and fighting count for something.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to Northern State University and I am currently six credits from finishing a Criminal Justice degree.
What was your job before you started fighting? I own and run my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Fort Worth, Texas.
