Biography

TRAINING: My typical day of training is usually a run first thing before work. In between clients, I either do jiu-jitsu at Triforce MMA or strength training.  After work, I'm either training in Rhode island or heading to Boston to train at Sityodtong.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training in 2005 after I was done playing hockey.  I wanted something new to do and stay active.

What ranks and titles have you held? I’m a purple belt in BJJ under Pete Jeffrey and have a purple Mongol in Muay Thai under Mark DellaGrotte. I've held two regional New England titles.

Do you have any heroes? Mark Hunt has always been my MMA hero. He's competed at such a high level for so long in kickboxing and now MMA.

What would it mean for you to fight in the UFC? UFC is where the elite MMA fighters compete. It's been my goal to get there since I started training.

What was your job before you started fighting? Before I started fighting I was a bartender in Boston and Providence, Rhode Island.  Now when I'm not training or fighting, I'm an MMA coach and personal trainer in Providence.
