Biography

TRAINING: Morning session down at ASW from 9.30 till 12 noon, MMA training with Daren Morris and Jack Mountford. 3pm boxing tech with Alex Matvienko or Thai boxing tech with Rob Lloyd. 6pm 4 mile run or strength work. 8pm slippers on and a nice cup of tea.

When and why did you start training for fighting?
I walked in to Atherton Submission Wrestling (ASW) 4 years ago because I had watched the UFC on TV and knew I could be good at it. I was surprised how easily I got beat up and schooled by a good friend and teammate, Chris Hoban, which annoyed me, so it gave me the drive to keep coming every day. As we say at the gym, I caught the bug, and have never looked back since.

What ranks and titles have you held? Fight Matrix 13th ranked undefeated fighter in the world

Do you have any heroes? Arturo Gatti / Frankie Edgar

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
Everything. It is like winning the lottery to me, my dream has come true

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
None

What was your job before you started fighting?
Timber Framer
