After a memorable UFC debut earlier this month, Israel Adesanya will return to action on April 14 to face fellow middleweight prospect Marvin Vettori at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
UFC Fight Night, which is headlined by the lightweight clash between Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje, airs live on FOX.
A native of Nigeria who now makes his home in New Zealand, Adesanya improved his pro MMA record to 12-0 on the UFC 221 card on February 11 with a second-round TKO of Rob Wilkinson that earned him Performance of the Night honors. This April, "The Last Stylebender" will test himself against Italy's Vettori, a four-fight veteran of the UFC who has scored victories over Alberto Uda and Vitor Miranda.
