Austin Gets Wiman Return Against Vallie-Flagg

Longtime lightweight standout Matt Wiman will step back into the Octagon for the first time since January of 2013 when he takes on recent Fight of the Night winner Isaac Vallie-Flagg on November 22 in Austin, Texas.

The verbally agreed to UFC Fight Night bout will see Wiman look to get back on the winning track after a UFC on FOX loss to TJ Grant. The former Ultimate Fighter season five competitor had won his two prior fights over Paul Sass and Mac Danzig, picking up Submission and Fight of the Night honors in the process.

Winner of five of his last seven, Vallie-Flagg lost his last bout against Takanori Gomi at UFC 172 in April but earned a Fight of the Night bonus for his efforts.
