Brown vs. Means Set for UFC 189

An explosive UFC 189 card on July 11 just got another dose of welterweight fireworks, as it was announced Tuesday that top contender Matt "The Immortal" Brown will face off with surging 170-pounder Tim "The Dirty Bird" Means at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Tickets for UFC 189, which features Jose Aldo's featherweight title defense against Conor McGregor and the welterweight title fight between Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald, are on sale now.

Winner of seven of his last nine, six by knockout, with his only losses coming against Lawler and Johny Hendricks, Ohio's Brown will be competing in Las Vegas for the first time since his 2012 knockout of Chris Cope. Waiting for "The Immortal" will be ALbuquerque's Means, whose current four-fight win streak includes an April 18 submission of George Sullivan and a February knockout of Dhiego Lima.
