With a little over a week and a half to go before the UFC travels to Broomfield, Colorado for UFC Fight Night, Brazilian veteran Thiago Tavares has been forced to withdraw from his rematch against featherweight contender Nik Lentz on February 14.
Stepping up to face Lentz will be Octagon newcomer Levan "The Hornet" Makashvili.
Winner of all but one of his pro bouts, the 26-year-old Georgian will be taking on a stiff challenge in Lentz, but with solid wrestling and knockout power in his fists, he eagerly accepted the bout and will be ready for his move to the big show.
