Soto Faces Beltran in Mexico City

Following the removal of Guido Cannetti from Saturday's UFC Fight Night bout against Marco Beltran, veteran Joe Soto will step up and make the trip to Mexico City in search of his second Octagon win.

The bout will be contested at a catchweight of 140 pounds.

In the UFC Fight Night main event at Arena Ciudad de Mexico, Tony Ferguson battles former lightweight champion  Rafael Dos Anjos. The card airs live on FS1.

California's Soto had a rough start to his UFC career, losing three straight, but with his back against the wall, he came up big, submitting Chris Beal in June. This weekend he will attempt to hand Beltran his first Octagon defeat.

Cannetti was removed from the event after a potential Anti-Doping violation caused him to be provisionally suspended by USADA.
