The Immortal Headlines vs. Saffiedine in Colorado

Hard-hitting welterweight contender Matt "The Immortal" Brown will look to begin a new winning streak in the Octagon when he faces off with former Strikeforce champion Tarec Saffiedine in the main event of the UFC Fight Night event at 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado on February 14.

UFC President Dana White made the announcement Monday during the TIME IS NOW media event in Las Vegas.

Winner of seven of his last eight, Brown may have seen his win streak snapped by number one contender Robbie Lawler in July, but the Fight of the Night battle proved the Ohio native's spot among the welterweight elite is more than secure.

A well-rounded competitor known for his debilitating leg kicks, Brussels native Saffiedine won five straight until an October loss to Rory MacDonald. Ready to return to the Octagon as soon as possible and get back in the win column, Saffiedine is a dangerous matchup for Brown and anyone at 170 pounds.

Tickets for this event go on sale in December. Stay tuned to UFC.com for more fight card announcements and ticket information.
