Faber vs. Rivera Heads to Cleveland

Rising bantamweight star Jimmie Rivera will get the toughest test of his career at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland when he faces perennial contender Urijah Faber in a UFC 203 bout on September 10.

In the UFC 203 main event, Cleveland's own Stipe Miocic defends his heavyweight title against Alistair Overeem.

A longtime standout on the local circuit, New Jersey's Jimmie Rivera has quickly established himself as one of the UFC's top bantamweights with three wins over Marcus Brimage, Pedro Munhoz and Iuri Alcantara. Currently the No. 14-ranked 135-pounder in the UFC, Rivera will likely rocket into the top 10 with a win over the No. 2-ranked Faber, who has won three of his last four bantamweight bouts, with the only loss coming via decision in his third fight against champion Dominick Cruz in June.
