After a stellar card capped by a jaw-dropping submission by light heavyweight Chael Sonnen, UFC president Dana White held court at the post-fight press conferece inside Boston's TD Garden.

In attendance were headliners Sonnen and his opponent Shogun Rua, plus victors heavyweight Travis Browne, bantamweight Urijah Faber, welterweight Matt Brown, middleweight John Howard, lightweight Michael Johnson, bantamweight Michael McDonald and featherweight Conor McGregor.

Due to the outstanding performances at the event, White announced that the UFC would award six $50,000 post-fight bonuses instead of the usual four.

Sonnen earned Submission of the Night for his surprising first-round guillotine win over BJJ black belt Rua; McDonald also picked up a submission bonus for his triangle-armbar of Brad Pickett.

Browne and Brown both earned KO of the Night green for their first-round finishes: Browne for the crane-kick comeback that flattened Alistair Overeem; Brown after starching former training partner Mike Pyle in 29 seconds. "Mike Pyle beat me up in training -- he beats everyone up in training," admitted Brown. "I knew it was him or me."

McDonald picked up a second bonus check for Fight of the Night; Pickett has now earned seven UFC/WEC bonuses in his ten-fight promotional career.

"And there are more coming," he hinted.
