London Suggestions from Local Fighters

UFC stars who live in Londontown give their recommendations about where to go while you're on their turf for the UFC Fan Expo.

"Nando's and Axis are hands-down the best places to eat in London."Karlos Vemola, UFC 122

"I
am from the Czech Republic but now London is my home. It is a wonderful
cosmopolitan city with something for everyone. If you cannot have fun
in London then you simply can't have fun. The Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherds Bush offers one of the biggest and exclusive shopping arenas in Europe with good food options. For food I love Nando's
which is a good value chicken restaurant and can be vemolafound all over
London. The night life is excellent, there are lots of bars and night
clubs even at the O2 Arena where the fight is taking place.

"There are great soccer teams and on 16 October, the day of the fight, it is Arsenal v Birmingham City
at the magnificient Emirate Statdium -- kickoff at 3 pm and the match
finishes at 4.45pm. You wll need an hour to get to the 02 Arena so you
can be in the stadium by 6 pm. A great day of sporting action."
Nick Osipczak, UFC 122
Nick Osipczak"If you like pizza, you gotta check out Soho Joe, best pizza in London! (22-25 Dean Street. W1D 3RY). And you also gotta go to a Nando's, it's every UK fighter's fave place to eat. If you're sticking around for a bit and wanna train some MMA, come to my gym, New Wave Academy!"

London Bridges are awesome, you can go to London Dungeous, the House of Parlaiment, Big Ben... Windsor Castle isn't far away -- see where the queen lives! Amazing place."
