After suffering an injury during training for his UFC 103 bout against Martin Kampmann, welterweight contender Mike Swick has been forced to withdraw from the September 19th bout at Dallas’ American Airlines Center. But Kampmann will still see action in Texas, as UK star Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley will step in to face ‘The Hitman’ in a 170-pound main card contest.

“He's a tough opponent, with good striking and good KO power,” said Kampmann. “ I think he's very dangerous guy, so it makes for a great fight.”

“Martin Kampmann is a big strong guy at welterweight and has had very good wins at middleweight,” said Daley. “He's one of the top contenders for the title, and it’s gonna be a great fight. I've been running with big dogs for a while now, so now’s my time to eat like one.”

Daley was originally scheduled to face Brian Foster in a battle of Octagon newcomers on the UFC 103 card.  Illinois’ Foster will now take on fellow welterweight prospect Rick Story.
